Q: How can I see competitor lists and competition results?
A: Competitor lists are located here: www.naucc.com/en/results. Once the competition is completed and the data verified, results will be posted at this link.
Q: How will changes or announcements be made during NAUCC?
A: We will email everyone who provided their email address during registration.
Q: What is the policy regarding bad weather or air quality?
A: Lightning/Threatening Weather -- Competitions will be paused if lightning or thunder is observed. Competition will resume 30 minutes after the last flash of lightning or sound of thunder.
Q: What's new for NAUCC 2025?
A: We're really excited about some new offerings at NAUCC 2025!
With several impressive Muni locations in the area, we are excited to highlight some of Southeast Michigan's best trails during the regular Muni competition at Stoney Creek Metropark and during a tentative extra Muni non-competitive event at Bloomer Park nearby.
We have made important changes to the Freestyle categories to make the competition more fair and align with UNICON standrards, following the updates in 2023.
NAUCC 2025 will be the first NAUCC to have FlatX2, a new 2 person flatland competition.
We are also excited that the Street and Flatland competitions will be hosted at Modern Skate & Surf, a 60,000-square-foot indoor skate park.
Q: What's new in Freestyle?
A: To make the Freestyle events the best they can be for competitors, NAUCC 2025 will use "Age Group" and "Expert" categories for both the Individual and Pairs competitions (replacing the previous Novice, Intermediate, and Expert skill-based categories). Unicon and other championships already use Age Groups, so this change brings NAUCC in line with other large championships.
For NAUCC 2025, the Freestyle categories are 0-14, 15+, and Expert. (Please note that the minimum number of age groups is two: 0-14 and 15+. Depending on the number of registered competitors, there may be more age groups.). Riders choose either their age group, which is based on their age at the start of NAUCC, or they may opt-in to the Expert competition. This choice is made during online NAUCC registration.
Q: What's new in the Trials competition?
A: The USA Board has approved a change in the safety gear required to participate in the NAUCC Trials competition. In addition to shoes and a helmet, competitors are now required to wear gloves and knee pads. Shin guards are highly recommended, but are not required.
Q: Will rate-negotiated hotels be available?
A: Yes. If you would like assistance arranging rooms for a group, please visit the Food and Lodging page on this webiste for a list of hotels in the area.
Q: Are there any campgrounds close to the events?
A: Yes! See lodging page for more info.
Q: Will late (onsite) registration be available?
A: Yes, registration will be available onsite at a non-discounted rate ($200 per competitor). However, no late Freestyle registration will be available. Freestyle registration must be done online, and it must be completed by July 1, 2025.
We strongly urge all competitors to register as accurately as possible online (at the discounted rate) no later than July 1, 2025. Changes can be made during NAUCC, but the start of events is often delayed by changes in registration. Please do your best to register for all events you are interested in participating in, and removing any events you don't intend to participate in. Thank you in advance!
